I’m sorry you’ve lost faith. I must communicate that DaVinci Coders only enrolls students with some background in coding, and positions itself as the first step for beginners. The school prides itself on teaching the basics and providing the first steps toward becoming a junior level developer. After the course is over, the school provide channels to continue your learning and education, and even employment channels.

However, continual immersion in projects after the course is key to building your experience and learning code. Luckily, coding is a meritocracy, you either put in the time and repetition to learn and make the code work or you don’t. Like most things in life, success in this course is truly up to the drive of the individual. If you already have a good background in HTML and CSS, you might be ok. But, you’re not going to go from “zero to Programmer” in 13 weeks ! That is just too short of a time period to get up to speed, especially when when most companies are looking for at least two years of experience in Ruby on Rails. You also need to be proficient in HTML and CSS, of which Davinci spends very little time in teaching. Again, you can only teach so much in 13 weeks.

The instructors do their best with what they have, but the owners are not being truthful when they are selling their school.

There is also no official job placement program after graduation. They will will send out a few emails about job openings, but these positions require at least two years experience.
